Law School

In May of 2010 my (then) fiance Jason and I graduated from Wheaton College in Massachusetts!

It was a very bittersweet time for us because Wheaton is where we met and fell in love, so it was hard to leave! But we were very excited for what was coming next. A mere three months later (about a month after we got married) we headed to Virginia to begin our first year at William & Mary Law School!

We are full time students in the graduating class of 2013. A lot of people ask us what type of law we intend to practice, and the truth is that we’re still figuring that out! I have always been interested in health and medicine, and I became fascinated with public health policy while in undergrad, so ideally I would like to practice some type of health law and eventually become involved with policy. Jason really enjoyed the work we did this past summer working in prosecution. But again, the truth is that we just don’t know and will likely change our minds several times. 🙂 For now we are trying to not stress ourselves out too much and just enjoy the ride!

Classes we are currently taking: Evidence, Criminal Procedure, Health Law & Policy, Land Use Control, Business Associations, Legal Skills
